Merry Christmas From Ebyown
Dear Friends
This Christmas is proving to be a special and challenging time at Ebyown. We have so much to thank the Lord for and I hope you don’t mind us sharing them with you as we come to the end of the year.
First of all we thank the Lord for supplying Singqibila a new feeding tube free of charge form the Sales rep Elize who represents a local medical company. We took the little one to a local hospital for the short procedure and on the hospital ward was another little boy who also needed the procedure doing. Elize had a spare Mick-key and they did the procedure for him as well. This will make the childrens lives a lot easier and also easier for the staff to feed them.
Secondly we had a real treat on Sunday as the kids performed a nativity song and dance. We was really blessed by it and thanks to Lina and Marijke who organised it. We did DVD it if anyone is interested we will send them a copy.
Thirdly, with extra children this Christmas is going to be really busy as their disabilities mean constant care and feeding – we covet your prayers for over the holiday period.
Fourthly, we are still seeking God on replacements for Lina and Marijke. We need a nurse especially asap. Good candidates have come forward but they need to ne either male or female due to accommadation constraints so PLEASE pray with us concerning this.
Finally as we go into the New Year we have a lot of things to bring before the Lord. As you know Lyn and I have the policy of saying to the Lord that we will take any child that He sends a long. In the last week we have been offered several children. The problem is we have to balance children’s entry with our capacity to provide for them. As you know we do not recieve any grants or monies from government and as we are all aware 2009 was hit by a huge recession that has dwindled most of our savings. Next year we would like to bring the home up to its legal capacity with three more children but this will mean 2 extra staff. So please pray that despite the worlds economic trends we will be able to sustain what we have but also take in some more of these vulnerable little ones.
We have added a few pictures, one group photo of all the kids, a photo of Luke and Baden and their new Rabbit and it was Simpiwes birthday, It now leaves me to say just one more think MERRY CHRISTMAS if you celebrate it and if you don’t then have a good holiday rest. May 2010 bring you all much joy, peace and a closer walk with Messiah Jesus.
Yours In Jesus
Dave, Lyn and Chris Royle
