Altrincham Baptist Church removes Salim Munayer’s talk about Hamas terror tunnels

In August of 2014, at the close of the last notable round of direct conflict between Israel and Hamas, Salim Munayer was asked a question about Hamas’ terror tunnels, after preaching a sermon at Altrincham Baptist Church. Salim responded:
They don’t have food, they cannot export. Their input is very limited. And as a result, in that situation, [Hamas] start digging tunnels under the ground to get food and water and also weapons to defend, because they want to change the situation.
Following the controversy surrounding these remarks,Altrincham Baptist Church has now removed Salim’s talk from public access. It is still available elsewhere online, however, and gets interesting around the 43-44 minute mark when you get to the Q & A.
If you listened to the Messianic Jews partnering with Salim Munayer at Larnaca or via Musalaha, you would come away with the impression that there is nothing to see here folks, and nothing remarkable was said during this talk.
The actions of Altrincham Baptist Church appear to suggest otherwise.

Altrincham Baptist Church removes Salim Munayer’s talk about Hamas terror tunnels

The actions of Altrincham Baptist Church appear to suggest otherwise.

In order to witness to unsaved Jews we must be a good witness to unsaved Jews. In order to share our testimony of faith in Yeshua with unsaved Jews we must demonstrate a good testimony to unsaved Jews.

When not once but twice someone claiming to be an evangelist to the Jews shares a pulpit in a disgusting public display of backslapping with an anti-Semite as his token showpiece messianic Jewish lapdog while Stephen Sizer perpetrated his diatribes that were not only anti-Zionist lies, half truths, and biased rhetoric – but even venturing into virulent anti-Jewish conspiracy theories even recognized as such by his own denomination who eventually culled his polemics –  that so-called “evangelist to the Jews” should go find an honest job.

When that same individual with a deceived mind and spirit signs up with a lying apologist for militant Islamic terror like Salim Munyaner, he has no witness or testimony to the Jewish people and those who defend his actions must be as convoluted in their reasoning as he is. He has made himself a demonically duped carcinoma that demands immediate excision.

I would remind David Brickner, Sue Perlman, Rich Robinson and all at Jews for Jesus of the cover story by Moishe Rosen in an edition of the Jews For Jesus Newsletter that, in agreement with Martin Luther King, Moishe publicly declared in writing and Jews for Jesus published the conviction that “ANTI ZIONISM IS MERELY THE CURRENT EXPRESSION OF ANTI SEMITISM”.

Moishe Rosen was essentially quite correct. The Jews For Jesus of today is WRONG!!! Lending any credence, sanction, or endorsement to this reprehensible fiasco is both detrimental to the cause of Jewish evangelism and an affront to the memory of Moishe Rosen, and a marked departure from the legacy that Moishe bequeathed to Jews For Jesus. Moishe Rosen was its founder. Moishe and Jews For Jesus represented to the Body of Messiah, to their supporters, and to the Jewish community a clear position and policy affirming the hypo-static and homogeneous relationship between Jew hatred and hatred of Israel on the front page of their signature periodical.

To this day my sister’s daughter (my young niece) in my native New York bemoans the day on the 11th of September when her father did not come home from work in the Twin Towers due to Islamic terror. I still recall when our son, who served in a front line combat brigade in the IDF for which he volunteered despite being a lawyer who could have had a desk job, was nearly killed by a katusha rocket fired by those radical Islamic terrorists whom Richard Harvey’s Larnaca co-signatories defend, while figures like Munyaner and Awad remain silent about the diabolical plight of persecuted Arab Christians in Gaza and throughout the Arab Moslem world at the hands of such demonized barbarians.

Those katushas fired at Israeli towns such as Sderot in the outer Tel Aviv suburbs and are smuggled through those tunnels, justified by Salim Munyaner, have killed both Israeli Jews and Israeli Arabs. No, the people of Gaza were not starved by the Israelis but pilfered by Hamas who use their own civilians as human shields in Gaza when the Israelis are forced to fire back in self defense. It was Messianic Jewish soldiers, young Jewish believers in Yeshua, who serve and served in the IDF and encountered this first hand who assured me that this is what really happens in Gaza and even left wing news organizations with a bias against Israel have admitted it. Hamas is no different in religious and political ideology that Al Qaeda or Isis. Do not believe Salim Munyaner and do not trust Richard Harvey.

It is well beyond the time for David Brickner & Jews For Jesus, and the Messianic Alliance to put an end to this abysmal support for the reckless antics of Richard Harvey in the delusional proposition that such witness and testimony, destroying demonstrations of rank idiocy, are somehow reconciliatory.

This ongoing fiasco is a shame and a disgrace and is directly counter-productive to the cause of Yeshua for Israel’s salvation – and is nothing less than that. There is no justification for a supposed evangelist to the Jews uniting with a proven anti-Semite whose own Anglican church silenced him, and less for a supposed evangelist to the Jews to be a Larnaca bed fellow with open apologists for Jew-hating radical Islamist murderers of the kind who brutally persecute Christians throughout the Arab Islamic world. Such a person is not an evangelist to the Jews; he is rather a deranged theocratic phony pretending to be one.
