Dan Corner

by James Jacob Prasch

Moriel has warned that the outlandish attacks by Dan Corner on Dave Hunt, John Mac Arthur, Charles Spurgeon, John Wesley (and alas Jacob Prasch) are based upon intentional distortion and misrepresentation of their beliefs.

His documented statements testify not only to his charlatanism and biblical ignorance, but to his personal dishonesty. Regarding some of Corner’s statements (particularly about Charles Spurgeon), it would be difficult to find a euphemism for “slandering lies”. His fanciful mishandling of scripture are not simply bad exegesis, but are theologically fraudulent.

While Moriel and Jacob Prasch are not Calvinistic and do not accept unconditional “Once Saved Always Saved” (as neither did John Wesley), a distinction must be made between moderate Calvinists and extreme ones.

While we do not agree with John MacArthur on a few issues (his interpretation of eternal security and Cessationism), most of his ministry is otherwise very good. We also without reservation continue our endorsement of Dave Hunt.

Dan Corner’s nonsense deserves no attention, so we only respond in brief in case anyone comes across second-hand misinformation disseminated by this seemingly obsessed religious phony. Again, there is no excuse for his repeated bearing of false witness against godly men like Charles Spurgeon or his vehement attacks on Dave Hunt, and his ridiculous level of biblical ignorance speaks for itself.
